A home lift can be located almost anywhere, outdoors or indoors. A home lift can come in its own self supporting tower and do not require a separate motor room. Every elevator is custom built to blend in with your surrounding area or alternatively you can have the elevator stand out as a focal point in your home.

As a general rule, home lifts should be inspected and serviced at least once a year to ensure that the lift is functioning properly and that all safety features are working correctly. However, some lifts may require more frequent maintenance based on the type of lift as well as the frequency of use.

The Australian Standards Lift Code recommends an annual safety and inspection check of all home lifts.
